What is XRP Crowdfund?
XRP Crowdfund is a simple platform for raising funds directly on the XRP Ledger. Creators submit projects with a goal, story, and wallet address. Donors send XRP instantly from their wallets — no middlemen, no custody by us. Balances update live from the blockchain, and it's 100% transparent.
How do I support a project?
It's easy: Click a project card for details, then use the "Copy Address" button to grab the wallet or "Send XRP" to open your wallet app (like Xaman). Send any amount — it goes straight to the creator's address on the XRPL. No accounts needed here; just your own wallet.
Do I need an XRP wallet to donate?
Yes, you'll need a wallet like Xaman (free app), Ledger, or any XRPL-compatible one. If you don't have one, download Xaman from xaman.app — setup takes under a minute. We link directly to it for quick sends.
How are funds handled? Is there escrow?
Funds go directly to the project's XRPL address as soon as you send them — no escrow or holding by us. Creators control their wallets fully. We just display live balances from the ledger. It's "keep what you raise," so even if goals aren't met, funds are accessible immediately.
Are there any fees?
Zero platform fees — we don't take a cut. Only the tiny XRPL network fee (~0.00001 XRP per transaction) applies when you send. That's it; 100% of your donation reaches the creator.
How do I submit my project?
Click "Submit Your Project" on the home page — it takes you to our simple form. Provide your title, description, goal (in XRP), image, wallet address, and optional details like intended USD equivalent or excess policy. We'll review and add it to the site quickly (usually within 24 hours).
What happens if a project doesn't reach its goal?
Creators keep whatever is raised — there's no all-or-nothing rule. Funds are sent directly, so they're available right away. Check the project's description for any custom plans if underfunded.
What if a project gets overfunded?
It depends on the project — many include an "excess policy" in their details (e.g., "extra goes to stretch goals" or "refunded to donors"). This is shown on the card and modal if provided. XRP volatility can affect values, but we display approximate fiat equivalents based on current prices.
Is it safe and secure?
Absolutely — everything's on the XRP Ledger, which is decentralized and tamper-proof. We don't hold funds or keys. Verify addresses yourself before sending. We review submissions to avoid scams, but always do your due diligence. Donations are irreversible, like any crypto transfer.
How can I contact support or ask more questions?
